You needed lots of courage to fly over enemy territory in a small, unarmed aircraft, and even more to actually land on such dangerous ground. Yet that’s what the pilots of these Westland Lysanders did as they went about their vital task of ferrying secret agents into and out of occupied France.
And for one squadron things were about to become even more dangerous — for it seemed one of their pilots was a traitor.
