The supplies dropped into the Burmese jungle were vital to the Chindits, but pilot Roy Raven found these routine operations lacking in excitement. It even seemed fairly tame playing taxi driver to a demolitions expert sent out to destroy an enemy tunnel.
However, things heated up when Roy’s Dakota was shot down and he found himself in the enemy-infested jungle with his passenger crippled in the crash and the tunnel still in one piece! But even with his wings clipped he was determined to see the mission through.
