When the bullets start to fly a man needs to be very quick or very fortunate if he’s going to get out of the way. Peter Reed reckoned he was one of the fortunate ones — after all, the lucky charm he carried in his pocket had seen him safely through a lot of hard fighting in the desert with both The Foreign Legion and The British Army.

But now it faces its toughest test of all as Peter finds himself behind enemy lines and surrounded by itchy trigger‑fingers.
