Commando Sergeant Doug Grant had his reasons for thinking that “the only good German was a dead German” — and a certain ruthless SS officer only convinced him further that he was right.

But as Doug fought on through the hard campaign in Italy, he began to realise that he was going to have to change his mind. There would be a lot of tough action before that happened, though!
